"Memorial High School is so named to honor the St. Marys area men and women who have served in America's Armed Forces, including those listed below who are among the many who gave their lives in our country's wars."

At the first home game of the 2019-2020 school year, the St. Marys All Brass Band presented a half-time show titled "Salute to America's Finest." It was a tribute to all current and former members of the United States Military. Members of the St. Marys VFW Post 9289 marched across the field carrying the flag of their respective branch as the band played the song for each military branch. The performance concluded with the band playing "God Bless America" as fireworks went off in the background.
