Safe Return/ Continuation of Services Plan
June 2021
St. Marys City Schools returned to in-person instruction 5 days a week for the 2020-2021 school year.  Thanks to the hard work and support of our staff, students, family members, and community, we were able to stay face-to-face for the entire school year. This document outlines our plan to continue face-to face instruction for the 2021-2022 school year, with an emphasis on assessing and supporting the academic and social emotional needs of our students.  
 
2021 Summer Meals (Free for ages 1-18)
St. Marys City Schools will be offering free meals for any child ages 1- 18 during the 2021 summer break.  Meals will be distributed on Mondays (2 breakfasts/ 2 lunches) and Wednesdays (3 breakfasts/ 3 lunches) from June 2nd - August 11th.  These grab-and-go meals may be picked up at the following locations/ times: 

East Primary or West Elementary Schools from 11am - 12:30pm
Dave Wright's BBQ from 11 - 11:20
Corner of Columbia/ Knoxville from 11-11:20
2100 Celina Road from 11:30 - 11:50
Corner of Beech/ Weston from 11:30 - 11:50

2020-2021 Options
While we plan to be back in school 5 days a week beginning Tuesday, August 25th, we understand that not every family feels comfortable sending their child back to school in person due to COVID-19.  To accommodate these families, we are also providing an online option for the 2020-2021 school year.  Information about this option can be found here. If you are interested in enrolling your child(ren) in our Rider Online Learning Academy, please call Mindy Thiebeau by August 5th at 3pm.  She can be reached at 419-394-4312 weekdays between 8am and 3pm.  
Prior to enrolling in the Rider Online Learning Academy, please complete the annual registration process in OneView at https://stmarys.esvportal.com/login.aspx (works best on chromebooks or computers).
Rider Restart Parent Survey
