Earn College Credit by taking
Computer Classes at MHS!
As stated in the Articulation
Agreement between James A. Rhodes State College (Lima, OH) and St.
Marys Memorial High School, MHS students can receive college credit for
taking certain coursework in their Computer classes. See Mr. Paul Sadler
for details.
Steps to earn college credit
- Take a Computer class at MHS
- Examine the College
Class Equivalents and Requirements
- Take the necessary levels (or coursework) to meet the requirements
for the College class(es) desired.
- Apply to Rhodes State College
- Get an application from the Guidance Office or use Rhodes
State's web site.
- There is a one-time $25 fee - once you apply, you can do Step 5
as often as needed without a fee. The application fee is good for
2 years.
- You do not have to attend Rhodes to receive college credit,
most Ohio schools will accept these classes. You will need to
send trancripts from Rhodes to the college you choose to attend.
- After the class is finished and grades are final, download
this form (or get one from Mr. Sadler). Fill this form out, and
get Mr. Sadler or Mr. Yingling to sign it for you. Send this form to
