Mirror/YearbookThis year will be our school's 100th edition of "The Mirror," our school's yearbook and sales for this year's 2008-2009 edition has begun! Books can be ordered on-line, by mail, by phone, or see Mrs. Anderson in Room 19. Watch your mail for a letter from Jostens for details or see Mrs. Anderson. The yearbook staff is also inviting students to share their photos with the yearbook. Just write your name, grade, names of other people in the photo, and 8th pr. class on the back of each one. Photos will be returned. The Mirror will be ALL COLOR! Yearbook is a class and an organization that designs, creates, and markets a historic book for each year of Memorial High School. Students work both in class, but also spend several hours each week out side of class creating pages and selling advertisements to local businesses. Students learn about journalism, photography, preserving historic events, how to deal with others, teamwork, meeting deadlines, leadership, product sales, organization, writing, and many other skills. Meeting- Yearbook class is held 8th period all year long. Students receive a yearbook grade for meeting deadlines, creativity, and assignments. Meetings take place in room 18, the yearbook room. Membership- Students interested in yearbook must complete an application. The yearbook advisor will select students for this class.
