Principal's Message

St. Marys Memorial High School Message from the Principal

Welcome

Dear Roughrider Families,

The 2018-2019 school year has officially wrapped up! We wish our Class of 2019 the best of luck on their future endeavors! Our senior class was talented academically and athletically, and they were a great group of leaders. Their leadership will impact our school for the next few years.

This past school year was a great success with many thanks to our students, our staff, our parents and all of our support staff. We take great pride in our accomplishments, but we are also looking for new heights. I was at the Statehouse this year with the girls and boys state championship bowling teams, and I kept hearing over and over, “We have to get back here.” This is just one example of the drive of our students, and it’s exciting to be a part of that enthusiasm!

Now we prepare for the 2019-2020 school year! Upperclassmen schedules will be mailed out on August 9, 2019. We will post a general school supply list at the end of July. It’s best to get general supplies such as pens, pencils, notebooks and folders before school starts. If teachers have more specific requests, they will relay those the first day of school.

Freshmen, we will have an orientation Wednesday, August 14, at 7 PM, in the auditorium. We will go over high school graduation requirements, chromebook procedures and some various other topics. You can also pickup your schedules that night!

Go Riders!

Jon Burke, Principal
