Any parent, individual, business, or organization
who wishes to support the Band program of the St. Marys City Schools can become
a member of the St. Marys Band Parents Organization.
As an
organized group, the
v
provide
funding for uniforms, instruments, equipment, instrument trailer, trips, and
awards for all band students in grades 5-12.
v
provide
physical and financial support of the band program at each building in the
district.
v
provide
funds to give refreshments to home and visiting band members at home football
games; and,
v
hold
a $100 members-only drawing at the Italian Dinner.
Annual fund-raising activities include the Pizza Sale; Haunted School;
Cheese and Sausage Sale; Clubs Choice fundraiser; Italian Dinner and Raffle;
concession stands at various athletic events throughout the year; and the BBQ
Chicken Dinner. All fund raising
proceeds go to maintain and improve the instrumental music program of the St.
Marys City Schools!
